If you are seriously looking for a driver, resprayed hood is immaterial, as along it was done properly. Even if it was not done properly, factor it into the price and make an offer if the car checks out.

I wish these cars were $20k cars, but logically, it is hard to forecast any further depreciation unless you crash the car. In my experience, it is nearly impossible to find the "perfect" 997.2 RS unless you are willing to pay collector prices. Even then... some of those cars are questionable.

The low miles white/red car that recently sold on BAT with minor accident history, that buyer got a freakin' bargain of the year.
Thank you! The car will come along eventually.

I agree with the "drivers car" remark you made, a resprayed hood, bumper or whatever isnt going to push me away and certainly will be factored into the price. That minor accident for the 8K mile white/red RS was definitely a deal.

Goood luck finding any 997rs under 200k right now.
Owner is definitely still here! And enjoying every mile with a smile!

When I bought the car in 2013: 3 years old, 60k miles = 20,000 miles/year
Now in 2023: 13 years old, 69,500 miles = 5346 miles/year

As I have a few cars I suspect the trend will continue, but mine will obviously never be a low mileage cream puff! What she is though, is the greatest car I have ever bought!

Too bad you can't bring one from Europe we have a few with 50/60k miles for sale well under 200k usd.

I bought mine a year ago for 130k and it was 45k miles, first owner. CGT seats, ac, lift, and a pts color.

Yep, seen them. Prices seem to be more fair out that way.

Wonder why. Its not like production numbers are higher over there, at least by a big margin.

demand higher in U.S. ? a white one traded about a month ago in GB for around $200K....

Not high mileage, and probably at the top of the price scale, but Merit has a tasty riveria blue 2011 listed....

Demand seems to be higher than Europe. With the private party cars, who knows what they finally sell for. They likely sell for less than listed as offers buy cars.

People tend to hang their hat on bring a trailer prices. Which sometimes is accurate and sometimes bidders get hung up on trying to "win the bid" and end up over paying for something.

That being said and coming back to the original post of my thread. I am also open to high mileage 997.1 GT3-RS or 997.2 GT3 as long as they are maintained well. No accidents, resprayed bumper ok.

Not as high mileage as you'd like, but @limitedslip is testing the waters with his nice 997.2 GT3 driver. Might be worth a chat... If I were in the market for a non-RS then I'd definitely bite.

It’s a Guards red stripper that I’ve owned for the past few years. I’d consider it to be in excellent “driver” condition. I’ve taken great care of it and done a few choice modifications.

~34k miles
Clean title
No accidents
No paintwork
No over revs
No options (build sheet says guards red, black leather seats, floor mats)

Additions:

Lamin-X film on headlights (also has an old partial front clear bra from previous ownership)
Sharkwerks center muffler delete with 88mm tips (have stock exhaust)
Pinned coolant pipes
Genuine front euro clears (have stock ambers)
Guards Transmission LSD 40/60
Genuine carbon fiber folding sport buckets w/ alcantara inserts (+ custom bolster and headrest protectors)
Genuine Tequipment harness roll bar
Genuine red seat belts
Genuine red RS door pulls
Genuine wheels in optional bright silver finish
Genuine black centerlock nuts and caps
Jae Lee (Mirage International) toe links / bump steer kits
Hardwired dashcam

Maintenance:

Motul Sport Ester 5w40 oil (average every 2.1k miles)
Motul RBF 600 brake/clutch fluid
Motul 300 LS transaxle fluid
Genuine Porsche coolant mix with distilled water
Bosch Y5DDC spark plugs
Air and cabin filters
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (6-7k miles)

Car is always garaged and only handwashed.

Thanks, messaged him the day he posted it. When he's ready and if I still don't have a car I'll be wire ready

I've had my eye on that car for a bit. Looks like records show that previous owner bought that car in 2022 for 198K. honestly, thats what I think its worth but not sure about the resprayed hood and fenders. I absolutely ok with a drivers car that has a resprayed bumper but its odd to me that the hood and fenders are resprayed but not the bumper?
