yep, oddly enough Suncoast just got a shipment of new drivers side in though they are leather inserts…. lower $ than the last BAT auction for NIB. If you want Alcantara inserts or a pattern they are stupid simple to take the Velcro covers off the inserts and have a upholstery shop put on whatever.

I left the passenger side couch in most of the time anyway because the wife hated the buckets.

Dallas steering wheel is redoing my steering wheel, console, shifter etc. They said the Alcantara is “solid charcoal #9002”

Great info - fair price given that I think these are NLA now. If you want alcantara inserts, I think P1 Designs can probably get them done. Plenty of positive reviews on here of them.

Actually makes me want to pick up one to experiment with. Try thinner foam and the lowering brackets to get them where I would want from a height perspective (since I think they sit too high), but $5k is still a lot.

Suncoast often gets in passenger only also, so it’s just a waiting game… imo bolster bucket wear is the first thing every buyer looks at so new would be awesome.

ehh RS is a work in progress, the numeric shifter has a bearing out… I was spoiled with the leather, interior/radio, so I’m redoing all the Alcantara to new. It’s hard going to a 30k mile tracked car when you have ocd… but I keep remind myself that’s why I did it

They're no longer available from Porsche as far as I know. Latest pricing I heard was around $10-11k depending on who you got them through. The driver seats that Suncoast got must have been some remaining inventory.

Ya like 6 months ago there was an article that said GT2 were discontinued, then there was a run on them at Suncoast and sold out…I bought the side bolster at the time thinking It was only a matter of time until that was gone too…until a few weeks ago when they got more lol. So I don’t know what’s really going on…Suncoast knows the truth I’m sure

Would be great if Porsche brought back the Clubsport seats. I don't think they're currently in production although Suncoast still lists them on their website. Likely just remaining inventory.

Will be interesting if Porsche continues to make the GT2 seats in the future and it's just a temporary unavailability.

I’m tempted to buy the driver seat and wait for Passenger shows up…..generally finding a pair would be the smartest

Definitely an option. My guess is you'd be more likely to find just a driver seat rather than just a passenger seat as there are people that just want a bucket for the track and need a driver seat only, not a passenger seat. The other issue you could run into is wear differences between the two seats. If you had a brand new driver seat, even with the passenger seat not having been sat in as often, if the passenger seat has been out in the sun, had some people in and out of it, wear is likely to be different but again, that would likely be minimized as you started using the driver seat. There also may be some supplier out there with a passenger seat still sitting around. Buying new or from someone reputable is likely the best move. I tend to get slightly concerned with buying a seat out of a crashed car as you never know if the structure of the seat has been compromised, even if the airbag did not deploy. A rear end collision for instance puts a lot of strain on a seat. I'll keep on the lookout and send you a message if I find a passenger seat.
