997.2 GT3 bucket seats
#46
Sorry to revive this thread but I'm currently looking for buckets for my 7.1 GT3. Looks like 997 GT2 seats are out of production and near impossible to get. The 991 version is a bit confusing to me, is there a 991 "GT2" buckets or this is referring to the regular 991 buckets (I do have a 991.2 RS so familiar with those)?
EDIT: nvmd I see that's referring to ROW 991 GT2 buckets, different than the ones in the RS.

Yep thanks already in contact with them, such a good deal especially with the weak euro.

With the ROW seats, based on my research, the 991 GT2 ROW seats does not have the passenger AWS hence it will trigger the airbag light for passenger. Some cars cannot take the AWS disable setting very well so the lights may be thrown. It is the 997 GT2 seats that are 100% plug and play, airbags should work and no codes according to other forum members. Also, 997 GT2 seats are not heated, whereas 991 GT2 seats have a heating element built in. If you do not care for the lights, the 991 GT2 ROW seats should be a great option. The 991 GT2 seats have the same connectors on the 997 version, aside from the lack of the AWS connector so female plug on the harness is tucked away.

I have a few sets of 997 buckets that I'll sell. Planes have taken over, so not doing much car stuff anymore. Have both with and withoutwithouts. Not sure what market is, but have sold some seats recently to a forum member as to my feedback. Also have about 6x race seats and p1300s if anyone wants to make an offer!

But from what I see on their site this is pretty vague.
I have the ROW GT2 version, which sit lower than the 997 so didnt end up needing the different mounts.
Saw another guy shim the mounts for more tilt as well but ehh

luckily they arrived in good shape and will be installed soon, along with a harness bar.

Oftentimes the carriers, etc blame customs when they misplace merchandise.
