Awesome! Also, I'm guessing the rear carpet was removed because someone had to cut into theirs to install a roll bar. So it's nice to have an extra that isn't cut. Just my guess.

When you pull the build sheet for your car it has the XPA thicker steering wheel option, so that looks to be the correct wheel for that car.

Great story! There was a previously flooded 997-2 RS recently for sale locally. Hurricane Irene survivor and Isringhausen supposedly did the work after it was totaled. The car looked fine and seemed to work well after the repairs were made. I think a local SoCal Rennlister bought it, he might chime in.

A new rear control module will fix your tail light issue. Curious about the airbags...

Durametric is good but somewhat limited in scope. There are good PIWIS clones out there for under a grand. One of those might be a good investment.

What was the price you got it at Copart if you don't mind me asking?

Great using the emergency cable to release the frunk but for future reference you can power the system at the fuse panel and door striker like you did but you have to use the button on the remote to pop the frunk. The frunk/rear deck won’t open via switch when there is less than 9v
