Default GT3 RS 4.0 (need help identifying)

This is a Meteor Silver (PTS) GT3 RS 4.0 for sale. It was damaged in an accident but the only information I got is an picture and the seller seems reluctant to give away more information, such as where the car was repaired. Well, either that or he doesn't understand me very well since he's German.

The VIN is: WP0ZZZ99ZBS785341

Anyone that recognise this car. It's sold new in Germany and is now for sale in Germany.

Superb spec.

Are you trying to buy this car? what are they asking for it? I would at least get pictures of it from all sides … this one picture you posted doesn't look too bad but if this is the only picture you were sent, there's probably a reason. It's definitely something you'd want to evaluate in person, or have someone that really knows these cars look it over really well to determine the quality of the repairs. I would obviously expect a very significant discount. Not sure what these cars sell for in Europe.

Yes, I'm interested in buying it if everything checks out. The seller claims that this is the only picture he got and that the accident and repair happened 8 years ago. I think the sign on the wall is for the brand Beropur (https://www.beropur.ch/beropur/web/beropur/) which is a company in Switzerland. Not sure if that means that the shop is located in Switzerland or not. Hell, I don't even know if the car was repaired where the pic was taken but it's the only clue I have.

The car is for sale about €50 000 lower than what seems to be the going price.

If this was the car, it’s a shame it was in an accident.

No, I don't think so. From you pictures it seems as the seat inlays, where the harness goes through, is black on #181. On the one I'm looking at they are bright silver. Otherwise they look very similar!

As I wrote above, it looks as it's a different car. Anyhow, as long as it was repaired properly, especially since the damages didn't seem too bad according to what can be seen in the picture, I don't see it as a problem.

Beropur is used all around europe so I'd first do a google search of all the independent body shops near where the car is being sold. This very likely the body shop as it's got a big fan for clearing paint fumes. It's very likely a shop that does a lot of porsche (I see a loose turbo wheel in the background).

Are you sure this Vin is right? it's coming up as a car from 1981

Well, it's clearly a 997 VIN so I'm not sure why it would come up as a 1981 car?

I mean WP0ZZZ [99] ZBS [7] 85341 = 997, right?

The triple "zzz" is definition for a Euro spec car. Not sure Vinanalytics would work with a (euro) VIN car that was not exported to NA...

Do you have good pictures of the car in it’s current state? That could be helpful to at least look for anything out of place or obviously wrong.
