Disconnected Connector on 07 GT3
What does this connector do? Flipped iPhone camera and looked under what appears to be ECU. No female connector....? For service? Remember new to this car...
Thx,

That is the amp for the stereo. Ask as many questions as you need to, hopefully we have answers.

I do know that on my car it is also disconnected, so you're not the only one. Wondering if it has something to do with whether you have PCM or not. For instance, in my car I do not have PCM, I only have CDR24 radio. But like I said, I'll research and report back.

If only there were a plug and play iPhone/Bluetooth module that could utilize that connector, without the pain of tapping into footwell power source and removing the radio (like the MR12VOLT option), we'd be in business.
GROM makes a unit like this for BMWs. Super easy, though I don't think they have to deal with the fiber-optic loop like the one in our cars.

For our radios on the Porsche, Becker Auto Sound in NJ does a mod where they can fit either an aux or a bluetooth audio solution to the factory CDR24 (or I think factory PCM). I had it done to mine. Sound quality is definitely not great, but sound does come out of your speakers. About $150 for the bluetooth option is what I paid. I think the aux is a bit less at $100-125. You do have to send out your radio for either one.
I didn't want to splice into any factory wiring and I prefer the factory look.
What I'm really waiting for is PCCM+ like what the 993 and 996 have. Which is a CarPlay solution from Porsche.
