I drove up to grab lunch in Dana Point today and decided to drive by my old house. I was shocked to see an RS on a lift in the garage with a very appropriate personalized plate. Ironically, that's not the first Green .1 RS to have lived in that house.

not only is it cool, it’s an insane coincidence! How many green .1 rs cars are in existence? And of all the houses in all of the nation, your old one houses one!!!!! You must knock on that door! That could be your next lifelong friend! You two obviously have insanely similar tastes! Only risk is that you knock on that door and meet the alternate version of your self living your alternate reality and the universe gets upended as a result, and we all die, but I’d still give it a shot!

I dug a little deeper and I actually think its the couple that bought the house from me about 6 years ago. I'm going up there again tomorrow.... taking the kids whale watching... so maybe I'll have time to drop a note in the mailbox. The owner would have seen my old car in the garage when he looked at the house back when we were selling.

Yeah, I always liked that pic. Saw a similar scene this morning when I ran south through Solana Beach and there was a very nice 997.2 GT3 parked in front of a cute beach house. I keep seeing that car at Seaside Reef around sunset.
