Default WTB: 997.2 RS, the time has come....

Well, looks like the time has come and I am on the search. My wish list is well, probably just that, a wish but here goes.

Aqua (no red): full leather, low mileage, PCCB and no stories. I'd prefer no FAL, no chrono.

I'm not looking to "low ball", I'm cash buyer and Mooty can vouch for me, actually he would probably not vouch for me and tell you to not take my money. ;-)

So, if you or anyone you know has something, please PM me.

Thanks!

"full leather, no FAL, no chrono, PCCB. Low mileage, no stories"

Evan, if a car has above combo, I would have bought already ;-)

but good luck!

I am also open to Grey Black, but again, looking for full leather, and PCCB, can be somewhat flexible on the rest, low mileage and no stories.

Not trying to be rude, just curious, but why full leather? Is it a rarity thing or just personal preference? I thought people tended not to like full leather on RS cars, but maybe its just me.

I think you have plenty on either side of the leather/plastic-dash argument and most pretty passionate. If I had to guess I’d say the line is slightly longer on the leather side, but mine is plastic. Honestly, I could go either way.

Oh my mistake. I don't know why when I read the post quickly, my first thought for full leather was no alcantara in the car, so full leather steering wheel, seats, etc. Didn't even think about the full leather option. Carry on.... lol

I've had them with and without and won't have without again. Completely personal preference.

I prefer the full leather as well....

Mine is close to that spec except I have FAL and not low miles....

brother, it took me over 3 years to find the right car....actually, find the right SELLER
I think that's more important than anything. Find someone that took good care of the car, has all the appropriate documentation, and is trustworthy (a RL'er is always a positive)

good luck!

I just picked up a .1 RS with all options above. The full leather is a bonus.

Full Leather rocks! makes the car that much tidier. I had no leather in my 04 GT3, and the difference in appearance and quality is incredible. I love the fit and finish of the 997 RS.

Doug, Switchcars just got a white with red graphics and wheels, .2 RS, PCCB’s, 3k miles. But it has chrono and lift. It’s on his instagram but not website.

If you can get 90% of your spec right AND it's a great car do it. Personally a 150K plus car should have leather IMO (and you shouldn't have to pay extra from the factory!). Also, IMO do not fall prey to anti chrono people if it's the right car. Getting your knickers in a twist over a car with chrono is silly. I have come full circle, either way is fine. Funny thing about them is they work. If you are not going to use a phone or look at a watch they really do serve a purpose. Good luck..

I would rather have full leather when I was looking but bought one without because it was right otherwise. When I'm driving don't give a rats *** if it has leather or not. Just my 2 cents

Enjoy the hunt

Honestly. If "the time has come" ditch your wish list. Not trying to be a jerk but it's about the drive not the options.

Leather dash looks bad with all the stitching on the dash but some folks like it. You want aqua but no red? You can't find both so don't worry about it. Atlas and the other color you mentioned were never an option.

Pccb I get, keeps wheels clean but I will guess your first perfect spec you come across won't have it. What to do?

Basically what I am telling you is that unless you want to wait two years or more just relax and get
The best car you can find. That means:

Miles
Condition
Spec
Price

Pick two.

Good luck!
