Love Aqua, which are more accessible than virgins, ... and interestingly there are more RS .2 Aqua's too (verses non-Rs'),... so that should also be "doable" ... yes pun intended
Hows the search going cosmos? .... (Took me ~ 1.5 yrs to find my Aqua, but my search was for a non-RS w/ sofa's, pccb's & more street friendly NAV crap)

Funny debate about leather vs no-leather. I have a leather interior in my RS and wish I hadn't. It doesn't really suit the way I see the car. But when I drive it, I get a big smile on my face and it's easy to forget about options.
Anyway, good luck with your search!

Any particular reason you would want rubber dash? I have rubber dash in my .1 gt3 and kind of wished it had leather. but agreed that options don't matter once you're driving

Agree, I am on my second 997.2 RS. Neither had leather and the question +/- leather honestly never occurred to me til these recent threads. The car looks perfect no leather.
991 GT3/RS - ok I will take leather.

If I wanted a car just for the road I would probably go for a normal GT3 or GT3 Touring because I find them more elegant and comfortable than RSs. For those road cars, I would love fancy colors and prefer leather to plastic.
All this is incredibly personal as we all have our own personal views of what each car means and what we want to get from them. I don't pretend to have an objective view on the topic!

^^^ 11 painted in 2010, and another 4 were painted Aqua in 2011. So 15 total in all of North America.
Then of the 11 from 2010, there were only 5 that had the PCCB's, ... and of those 5, only one had the paint-to-match seat backs like mine with yellow belts & yellow stitching on the full leather (all the way into the back of the car too),
I absolutely love looking in the back area of my car & seeing the combo of Aqua Blue paint on seat backs plus yellow stitching on the leather. For some stupid reason that just really makes me smile. But of course yes I agree that the huge smile on my face when I'm driving, is never because of those little option details. But whoever specc'd the car new, definitely had my spirit within them when checking the boxes.
But yea, it felt like finding a needle in the haystack for those that year+ when looking (every single day). I think I may have just barely beat out Doug on the car too,... cuz I literally bought it within 36 hrs of it going up for sale (the previous owner had passed away a year prior & his son finally decided to trade it in),... and once I arrived (12 hours from my home) and I had given the check, I was just sitting there with the Sales Rep waiting on their paperwork, the Rep said to me,... "well, when I got in this morning I had 5 calls on the car, 2 of which are dealers that I do business with on a regular basis, one of which said that if you didn't buy the car, he wanted it sight-unseen". Then a week or so later, Doug ping'd me here & said he knew I had bought the car. 10,465 miles.
anyway,.... a few interior shots for posterity....
Good luck with the continued search cosmos. It is definitely worth the wait....
