Atleast you can drive it on the street when/if you want. Thats one of the reasons I went with a built 997 over a cup car. I want best of both worlds.

Exactly, and as much fun driving on the streets as the track. Agreed, it is the best of both worlds. Interesting how much more attention it receives over a normal factory GT3.

thank you, I’m not the fastest driver but I’m curious as well. After taking an 8 year hiatus I managed to get my time at Thunderbolt at NJMP down to the low 1.30’s in my GT3. At the start of the summer I was at 1.42 so I shaved 10 seconds in 8 track days. Which tells you how slow I was at the start of summer. Ha

The original owner started the conversion before the GT4 Clubsport was available for purchase in the US. He loved the balance of the GT4 so he decided to build a purpose built car for competitive racing and agreed, lets all hope for a quick recovery for all.
The investment was substantial as I have the receipts but we can all agree if you track a car, this isn’t the cheapest hobby we could choose.

I understand why OP bought the converted street-to-CS GT4. However, I’m curious the rationale someone has to DO the actual conversion from street to CS GT4? I guess it could have been the “slippery slope” conversion game where you do a couple of minor mods and then a year later you are a couple of mods away from having a CS?
OP, I hope we all get back out on the track soon and I want to hear your impressions.

I love the wheels and the subtle red accents are perfect.

The red 993 and driver are fast
I’d be happy if I could keep up with that 993. Ha

Sweet GT4 dude...I think you made the right decision but I feel your pain...there are so many P cars I want but I think beyond my 997 TT I have decided to hold out for a 2011 GT2 RS...once my portfolio gets back to 7 figures, which may be a while enjoy you track car.
