No, there is a much easier way than messing with the vacuum lines down under the car.
Just unclip the electrical connection on the top side of the engine bay, on the passenger side. I'll put a pic down below for reference on where it lives...
.... suggestion: If you decide to leave it unclipped for any length of time, while you're assessing how it sounds,... then use some painters tape first to wrap both connections, then cover the painters tape with electrical tape to avoid melting the painters tape. I did that & drove it for several hundred miles before I decided I did not like the drone inside the car at around 60mph. Hence the reason I went with the Carnewal switch.
There's some good close-ups in this thread too - Post # 54. And of course Post # 3 has great pics that show your current exhaust flow if you're interested in how the gases flow.
Yours looks like it is plugged in still. He must have undone the vacuum tubes and put a plug in them. Look under your bumper for the little black hose that pugs in to the valve.
Well the GT3 has been to Sebring twice! I am hooked! I pulled the seats out and installed Recaro's and a roll bar. I got a set of wheels from a fellow Rennlister and put the HoHo's on fpr last weekend. I also treated her to a Braille battery. So glad I decided to get this beast!! I also sprayed my roll bar, wings and wheels in performance blue. I used my shop Line-X Ultra on the roll bar.
Thanks! The car really doesn’t need much. Maybe a updated stereo. Looking at a new head unit. What are everyone's thoughts on new stereo setups? I really like this Alpine unit- car does not have pcm https://www.alpine-usa.com/product/a...-auto-ilx-w650

Looking GOOD! Can't mistake you at Sebring now the next time I'm there, I'll search you out haha. Send us some video of you ripping around with our side muffler bypass pipes, we'll put you up on our social media
