Hi all,

Looking for some sub bar options fro my PPs. PP to 997, both driver and passenger side.

I heard of BK sub bars, but thought someone here would have more experience with other brands.

I have BK on my 964 and they are fine.

what are you using for rails and mounting base?

Rails and mounts are all Recaro...

I have GMG mounts that have a sub bar built in, but since you have the hardware for the Recaros best bet is probably the BK option.

how are you bolting the Recaro sliders into the 997? They fit? I thought Recaro dual locking sliders were flat mount and you need an adapter plate to bolt them into the car which has the front mount points at an angle...

Ooof. I have to buy those adaptors plates now...

Id recommend getting a mounting plate to solve the cross bar issue too. If you get the BK adapter you'll still need a cross bar for the sub strap or drill the tub and install with banking plates.

The stack from bottom top looks like this:

BBI sells them.

Seats are a PITA to install. Lot of little bolts and messing w/ to get it right.
