Default Best LA area shop...

to work on my 3.8RS? Based on what I recall from posts over the years, I'm thinking BBI.

I don't get much time to drive it, but when I do I'm reminded of why it's my favorite car ever. This afternoon:

Thx,
Vivian

BBi seems to be the go to shop in So Cal. I purchased my buckets from Betim. Super easy transaction.

Several good shops.. Kind of depends on what work you are going to do. BBi, GMG, Rstrada for tuning/customization... For regular maintenance I actually prefer taking my cars to the dealerships.

BTW.. I have your evil Twin. Beeest Car ever!

Depends on what you're getting done. I liked BBi and GMG for bigger work, but they're busy, especially BBi. BBi was trying to book me out a month+ at one point and just not returning phone calls at all. GMG is busy but on average does return my phone calls. I just take it to my dependable old track day mechanic when it comes to stuff like oil changes and maintenance and the like (Matt at Techcraft Performance, used to work at Platte Forme a.g. for any of you that are ex-BMW M3 track day/grassroots time attack people) and then Chewerks when it comes to alignment work. Too bad my favorite one-stop-all-Porsche-things shop (TPC Racing) is on the East Coast and I no longer am.

Joey Seely at E-motion Engineering is another great choice and he does more than just suspension. He was BBI's former suspension guy before he started his own shop.
