Default Cgt seat help

My new cgt seats arrived. Looking for some input. It seems that the seat belt recpitical is too short to sit inside of the seat. Only fits on out side.?? Otherwise it goes on a right angle almost to fit thru the slot? Thoughts?

Not the right receptacles for the CGT seats; there are different variants of them made for different seat models - and those would appear to be the version for a different seat.

Your looking for part number 997.803.183.10

Thx very much. What about the connectors that go underneath?

Yep. CGT seat belt receptacles are longer. They also use different hardware to mount them to the square opening in the CGT side mounts. Also note CGT side mounts have two sets of holes to position the seat higher or lower depending on preference. I'm on my third set of CGT seats and I just went through this with a buddy and it still confuses me Best Josh PS I wouldn't worry too much about the connectors. You'll have lots of connectors dangling below the seats. The connector specific to the CGT receptacle is to extinguish the seat belt dummy light.

You can use the receptacles you have without tucking them into the seat if you can reach it and it doesn't bother you. I keep my CGT receptacles outside the body of the seat because I don't like the seat wear it causes and I find the receptacle annoying when I slide against it while cornering.

Do you find them tight to the console? The plug on the stock belt runs right into the yellow plug? Also .what's the part numbers if you know off hand for the bolt to gold seat belt to seat rather then stock hole in floor of car?

I don't find them too tight to the console. There's more room than you'd guess. I can take a pic and send it if you PM your text or email. Aww the elusive part number. Good question. My friend was kind enough to do the research. I apologize I don't have it. However the appropriate hardware is NOT cheap. We had a machine shop make a couple of the pieces...
