Default Brake pads.

What do you guys recommend for brake pads . Had car since june. Already clocked 5000 plus km. Moving forward will only drive more I'd think. Might do a couple track days a yr. Don't want squeaky pads. Thx guys

Sorry to say but most track worthy pads will squeal. Just run stock on the street and track pads at the track. Most 'dual purpose' pads won't cut it on the track.

Ferodo DS2500 - I don't recall them squealing, but my car is full straight pipe, so its really loud. Good bite on the street and can handle track duty, but they won't last long on track. I only got like 2 weekends out of the fronts before they needed to be replaced, normally I get 3-4x that with the DS111. But if you're only going to do a couple of days, that might be your best bet.

997.2 RS stock pads are not that bad, comes to track layout too.

Which pads last long and dont burn down discs on track?

Im running Endless MX-72 pads. Have about 17k Miles on these pads with a few track days and many spirited canyon drives. Tons of life on left on the pad and minimal squeal.

The Endless pad Mx72 and the Race Technologies TS20 are good dual use pads, I have sets for 2 of my cars. For heavy track use they won't have the bite you probably want, but they have good temperature performance and handle the heat, low dust, and are not noisy. And they perform well in lower temperature situations unlike race pads which need to be hot to work right.

If you're looking for just a few track days a year out of your pads but want performance on the street without the squeal, the Ferodo DS2500 is the way to go. The DS1.11's are definitely going to have the best performance for the track, but you are going to sound like a freight train rolling up to stoplights lol. DS2500's give you the performance you want but are more street friendly and daily drive-able

I second (third I guess) the DS2500 for street and DS1.11s for the track. I think the DS2500s could cut it for a light duty track day and are otherwise great pads. Start there and if not good enough, you can just buy a dedicated track set?
