The gauges were actually done by the previous owner so I can't answer to how it was done.
Do the gauges have the model designation?
I do know that the "GTS" script on the tach gauge had to be requested and added to the cost from FVD. Unless I'm mistaken only the Turbos and GT cars (except GTS) come with model designation on the tach gauge from the factory and I don't believe that's an option if you buy different color gauges from Porsche.
