Default Review GT3 RS Carbon wing CarID

Hi Guys,
I bought a GT3 RS trunk and carbon wing from CarID.
Fiberglass base in black primer.
Wing and winglets in carbon fibre, not sure if its real carbon, but the look does play the part well.
Well packaged, made it to Canada in perfect shape from FL.
But missing hardware to mount the wing to the trunk base.
Should be using m5 screws, but i made studs on the wing.
Also had to buy screws for the winglets to spoiler as the 4 screws received were to short. So a big ZERO for that. And no instructions.
Factory fan and hinges mount perfect.
A made the second hole for the 997.2 air inlet has it only had one like a .1.

For the price, I am happy, fit was about a 90%, carbon fibre look finish is about a 95% a fews small defects. but I am not looking for a car show points winner.
My car is a daily driver.

Got Replacement Carrera 4S emblems in black from eBay to add on the lid.
As i am not trying to be a RS, just like the look of the wing.

Driving a 4S daily is perfect, just needed more sound and tail.
RS wing, check!
Tubi Exhaust, check!
Headers w/ 200 cell cats, check!

How much for that beauty? What brand headers do you have? Did it make a difference in performance and sound? Thanks

Love the look. I'm thinking of adding a GT3-RS type wing to my GTS. I haven't decided which I like better - the .1 type with the fiberglass struts or the .2 type with the aluminum struts.

Thanks for the review! I've been thinking of adding a .2 type to my .1 and was looking at them. The price seems pretty fair to be honest.

Looks great BTW!

Looks really good. You planning to do with an Aero kit front bumper too?

Thanks Fellows !! not many reviews on this wing setup.
For less then 2k delivered, or half a getty design one.
I am happy with the fit.
Honestly the caps are very acceptable in person. I could move it to the right a bit more if i play with it more.
I sit in the car and drive it, my 11 C2S has over 50k miles on it. Daily summer car with my kid carseat in the back.
I refuse to let small details take up to much time and $$ to keep perfect.
Had the front bumper re-sprawed last summer, and already had a scratch from road debris.
So I just enjoy it no matter what...

I went with the .1 RS wing, as its a street car, .2 is a bit big for my taste.
No plans to swap bumper. Happy with it for now lol..

How much was it? I waited for CarID to figure out their supplier issues and finally pulled the trigger on a GT4-style wing from eBay.

Unfortunately, after-market parts never fit like stock and notice some float / gap on my decklid as well but it's not too bad...que sera sera.
