great write up and thinking of attempting this. About to click purchase on the skirts from suncoast but I wanted to ask a quick question. I like the detail in defining the mounting hardware you used, but I was curious if you there was any one place in particular you sourced all of your hardware?

Thanks All.

I have added a section to the beginning of the thread with parts sourcing links and will continue to add more as I have a chance.
The bolts, washers and nylon spacers were sourced at Home Depot.

Ive updated the original post to include some improvements of the mounting hardware (all black) to make the project look really great from under the car also.

and a pic afterwards - getting ready for an evening drive:

This thread is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous -- in the best way. This community is amazing.
I have nowhere near the time, patience or know-how to get this done on my C4S, but I wish I did. Excellent work, excellent write up and instructions. Car looks great and this is a prime example of the best possible aspects of a site like this... Thanks for sharing your hard work.

Thanks Jsalah.
As you have a C4S there is a much easier solution for your (and any other AWD 997); you can install the RS Side Skirts which give a more aggressive look and are a direct bolt on:

https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/9972RSSS.html
https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/997GT2SILL.html

Edit - please note I haven't personally verified fit of the above parts on AWD cars, but it seems like many have done this upgrade,
