Child seat recommendations for cabriolet

If they're in between and still needing a seat with the built-in harness, I'd wait or keep them rear facing...the position of the lap belt receptacle is pretty far forward and you have to do too many "tricks" to get the seat to fit snugly/safely. For rear facing, I used a Chicco Keyfit 30 without the base.

I have a 2011 TTS cab (997.2). Gave up on finding infant seats that would work (five part harness). No latch system, and can't find anything new that fits as everything was too wide, even taking back and bottom cushion out of the back seat. Booster seats (for older child) is another topic. In any case, to get something to work forward facing, passenger seat has to be all the way forward and almost upright to provide leg room in the back.

Ordered the Harmony Dreamtime from Walmart based on another thread. Will find out in a few days if it works.

Britax Marathon Clicktight here, albeit for a coupe not a cab. It has a narrow base, 5 point harness and fits my 3yo well. Also easy to install the seatbelt in it.
The worst part is the top tether, kind of painful to cut into the carpet. And really hard to latch the top tether, Porsche decided to curve the anchor and it took me a good hour to get it latched on.

Taking notes and searching for some of the suggestions results in fun recall articles - world's a tire fire of quality control apparently.
Anyone tracking on this subject find any rear-facing solutions in the last year which work for them?
I'm 6'0, she's 5'9, and the idea is to go on a ~3K mi road trip a few months after arrival of "that which will torture the dog to no end" (and almost certainly urinate in my car which he has never done), with both of them back there for the full tetris effect.
So far i've figured out that the seating position is surprisingly adjustable to the front by collapsing the steering wheel all the way... though not sure if its feasible to stuff even a tiny human back there given the size of most rear-facing seats i have seen.
