Obviously that's a great call, so welcome back ! But I'm curious about why you even put it on the market in the first place? Were you thinking of moving to a different car, getting some heat from your better half as to why you pay more attention to your 997 rather than her, or are you pleading temporary insanity...?
I plead temporary insanity - GrandSport had me temporarily interested but when I went to the dealer to option one out I started to realize there was no way I could replace a 911 with a Vette. I will reconsider the Vette when my GT350 warranty is up which might be a long time - looking into giving Ford 900 bucks for a 7 year/75k mile warranty on that car.
Not to derail the thread, but honestly we know how awesome the 997 is (in the 90K+ club myself). How do you enjoy the 'stang?
Also good choice re: the Porsche.
Probably one of the most intoxicating driving experiences money can buy. On the street it's a riot and on the track it's extremely fast. Incredible machine.
