Default Regret lowering?

Anyone regret lowering? I have a 997.2c4s with 7mm and 15mm spacers but getting tired of wheel gap...I keep going back and forth on lowering because I don't want to watch every little lip in road - Just got a price for lowering at local shop, thought it was a decent - springs installed for $486, alignment , $95, nitrogen tire fill $26....think of going with techart....but still reading about posts about techart vs. eibach etc...I know there's tons of info and still currently researching but just wondering if someone wishes they kept stock...thx

I have 7mm front and 15mm back with SPASM and love everything about it. Just be extra cautious with driveways and speed bumps. Approach them on an angle and go slow.

as i was told by H&R many yrs ago, H&R makes all the springs, porsche factory row, techart, cargraphic. so buy the cheapest, porsche row or h&r
by the way, using any of these lowering springs is basically just going to the standard row euro height, thats how its meant to be. not raised to the usa height

Is your cars suspension lowered ? so you also engage the SPASM and still there is no rubbing with your wheels on spacers ?

Installing the Eibach springs on my car is probably the best mod I've done. It rides much better, it turns better, and it looks better.

My car had the SUV height suspension so for me it was a no brainer.

Here's a couple of pics for comparison. I don't have to tell you which one is before and which one's after:

No regret. Get the Eibachs, same as the Techarts but cheaper, same stuff. The H&R's will lower it another 1/4" and that's what I went with

I have no issues with speedbumps etc. Just slow down like I always do. Drive as you always will. I have scraped the little plastic things but they are cheap and replacable

Skip the nitrogen - ripoff

I presume that is the labour only. Don't think you can even buy the springs for that

I have a 997.2 C2S with pasm. Installed Techart springs and have 8mm in the front and 15 mm spaces in the rear. At stock height, always needed to be careful. The Techart springs was a bit lower, but not much different than pasm stock if that helps. I think the drop is very close to spasm. No regrets, car handles better and looks great with both my winter wheels at 18 in and summer with 19 in.

H&R with a front lip and at times wish it was a tad lower. No issues at all so far.

Fyi - If you're considering Techart, based on my shopping around and using a local Porsche independent. The springs are around $700. Labor and the cost for a new alignment was about another $750. No regrets paying a bit more for techart.

Thx! It's lowered 1 inch or 5mm lower than a car with SPASM.

Can you let me know what the difference is between the Eibachs and Techarts that warrant a higher price? No one has been able to explain this so I am curious
