Headlight design makes it look like a 996.1 with the yolks painted over.. i.e. doesn't look good...

...and I hope that rear spoiler is temporary...

Ugg the rear shot of that 992 is hard on the eyes.

can't say I hate it. just seems like some of the curvature is being very slightly muted from previous versions. as the shape of the car becomes more and more streamlined it seems to be losing a bit of it's signature 911-ness. Just speaking as far as the body goes. Pretty clear (to me anyways) looking at the side view. will look forward to learning about the advancements it has though.

The rear shot masks the definition of the spoiler. Confusing to the eyes.

The side profile is very Cayman.

Doesn't look bad to me, though I'll still prefer the 997. It definitely seems like a continuation of the 991's big GT design philosophy.

The front has the same bumper line as the 964. I really like it.

I wouldn't pay to much attention on how it looks since it is just a development mule. The bigger story (per Autocar) is that it will go with turbo engines only even for the GT models:

I know it's a test mule, but I like it. Looking forward to see what the final production model looks like.

I prefer the 991.2. I think the 991.2 integrated the led/blinker lights very well compared to the 991.1 and had more of a classic look. This looks like a transformer to many edges.

The rear end pic of that 992 with the sloping (wing?) reminds me of the earlier Supra's

Finally the 991 folks will be able to opine that theirs is the last real Porsche! I like the look. Brake discs look huge.
