added a red S to the badging of my car, which meant i had to move the 911 over a little.
all measurements, and thoughts here in this album for both single row and double row badging upgrades. hopefully it'll be of use to some of you wanting to do the same

I don't own a Porsche, I'm a lurker, I just joined but WOW, I absolutely love this thread and the concept behind it. I feel like I'm at home here. Thanks for a great thread OP!

i need one of you Toronto guys to put my targa 4S back on. Last guy pulled it off when he wrapped it orange. Now I am seeing the black P O R S C H E and that may be cool as well but deck space is limited on a 997.2

you can pick up some stuff from my house , i have left over stuff from crappy tire... you'll have to apply stick it on and then use an exacto knife to score the edges. is there a photo of your car anywhere?

Hello everyone, just recently became proud Porsche 911 owner. I want to re-badge the back of my 911 Cab with just black PORSCHE and change the exhaust to black quad tips. I want ask if anyone recommend any shop in the Dallas area who will do a good job of the rebadging? I can change the tips myself just not confident with the badge. Appreciate your thoughts....

to rebadging (in the same location use this exact method)
the only issue is i am not sure if the 911 Carrera isnt on the rear if the entire P O R S C H E row would need to be lowered slightly to maintain proper oem negative spacing . have attached a quick photoshop to illustrate.
ps. your car looks awesome.

My version (very much NOT OCD, but with equal results):

Thanks for the videos and instructions. I guess i should be "capable" of replacing the letter at the same spot but to MYW point, it will look better if the emblem is lowered a bit to center.
Ric-ko, how do you ensure the tape is curve along the contour of 911 body? That is the part i am quite confortable with.....

Contours of emblem
It was pretty easy-- I used masking tape of the same width from the top that I wanted the letters, and placed the top edge of the tape at the crease in the trunk. So the bottom edge of the tape was where I wanted the top of my letters to be. Looks like I put mine using 2 inch tape.
What is nice is that you can look at it from all angles before you place your first letter. No legos required.
