Are you buying the car from the P dealer in Williamsville? If not they have a good shop and are nice to deal with.

Yes I am. Can they be trusted to do a PPI on their own CPO? So far so good with them. What's their rep. in the area?

That's a bit of a conflict of interests. The CPO does protect you, though. So, you have that going for you.

Is the car PDK or manual? Have them send you the complete DME report, and post it here. Need to see total operating hours, mileage, and time stamps for any/all over-rev events.

How do you intend to move this vehicle around? With the local weather, I would lean towards inhouse PPi.

Very reputable and honest. I've been friends w the owner for 15 years. Bought my 993 from them a million years ago. Been a customer since. Call me it's easier. I am 90 minutes away so may be able to help. 315-246-2173 is my cell.

As mentioned above details on car would be a help. My 993 was their customer's car traded on a 996 GT2. Looked at it w my Indy tech but no formal PPI. They are honest and reputable. If it's "their" car you can be confident in what they tell you.

Response to my request for DME report:

"We don’t run a DME report on our cars. Besides with the PDK transmission you cannot over rev the engine. Even if you are in manual mode and forget to shift the transmission will back you off red line."

We don't run a dme report.. lol

Seems very reputable. At least they were honest about not running it.

No. I agree. A DME report on a PDK car is pretty uneventful. That's why I asked for clarity earlier.

I wouldn't worry about the lack of the DME report, but if a dealer said that to me I'd probably walk. That's obnoxious.
