Default Rebuilding a GT3 Lower Control Arm - Possible?

There is a guy selling a set of GT3 lower control arms with a couple small issues: one has a torn ball-joint boot, and the other has a good boot but a bad ball joint. As opposed to buying a new set (I know, I know it's a wear item that I shouldn't buy used...), I figured these might be able to be rebuilt with a new ball joint and boot. But, when you look up the part numbers for the LCAs, diagrams don't list the joint or boot as separate items.

I'm not 100% sure rebuilding is a possibility, but it seems odd that it wouldn't be, leading to my question: has anyone rebuilt GT3 LCAs or know if it can even be done?

Contact these guys. Post back what you find. A friend uses them but I have no experience.

Talked to them today, looks like it's possible, but they don't do/haven't done GT3 arms before, mostly rebuilding 996 turbos, apparently. Regardless, I'm negotiating the price on the LCAs and will update as soon as I have more!

Thank you for the recommendation.

Received the rebuilt part from Vertex and very high quality as far as I can tell. The newly pressed joints and boots are both high quality and look ready to go. I'll post some pics later today. $400 for the rebuild (with guarantee) and shipping, so all-in, I saved much $$$ over new parts.

Unfortunately, the suspension update has been put on hold due to failing turbos on the daily BMW which now needs to be replaced...it's always something.

Time to re visit this. The market is evolving, what's it take to replace Lca ball joints these days?

I think I read that Vertex or someone can replace the ball joints on lower control arms. Has anyone had it done by them or someone else?

Bumping this thread. Anyone aware whether Vertex still offers this service or whether there are any other options? Thanks.
