While this is not beige alcantara, this is what I had done to refurbish my beige 997 wheel for $450 including shipping last year...

The work was done by an ebay seller based in Texas: flores_srg@yahoo.com

It has held up well and I he did a wheel for another one of my cars.

Call LedermanZ...they have Beige Alcantara in their product offering.

And lot of color alternatives for stitching as well

If your wheel it's just a simple wrapping, maybe could be lest than $400...who knows.

I sent the gentleman in my state an email. I'm not against shipping to Latvia at all either. His online store seems to be a bit tricky.

There are several places on ebay.de that offer wheel wrapping for 129€ up to 149€. There is also a place that PFF resident turbo guru 996Frank recommends. I can look up the name if you want.

I have had a Toyota wheel done in smooth and perforated leather combination and with increased thickness for 139€ by some guy from ebay that is close to Polish border. Anyway, wheel is holding up well after 3 years of use.

Probably one of the big conclusion of this thread is the fact there are plenty very good and high quality alternatives between (in USD) $180 up to $400, but just need international shipping to be considered.

I want the wheel redone. Alcantara isnt a must just good matching leather. Ordering a new car in Q4 all loaded in side from Porsche but this wheel bugs me. Why all this shipping crap? So I won't have a damn steering wheel / might not drive for weeks!

I agree, I was just shocked in Texas. Has anyone tried to do the restitching themselves? It seems pretty easy.

LedermanZ and Dallas custom are not in the same league this include material and craftsmanship. LedermanZ 10/10 vs 7/10 for Dallas. Pictures are deceiving and once you see them both side by side, you see the flaws.

ledermanz ebay store is hard to navigate and I cannot find his contact email or #.

I did find what I would like to get besides several details. It's the same steering wheel I have, but flat bottom, thicker, and alcantara. I would also like the stripe up top. I'm thinking all beige alcantara with a white stripe up top or black alcantara and maybe a white or silver stripe matching the 3 trapezoid silver things would look good. The dark gray horn trim may throw the whole thing off.

I've posted this on several wheel threads, so here it is again.

DCT, gray leather, flat bottom, red stripe.

I got in contact with Ledermanz. I showed him examples of the sand beige alcantara headliner and he sent me a picture of their beige alcantara. Do you guys think this is a close match? The lighting of all pictures is different, so I think that throws it off and makes it hard to compare. Based on these pictures alone it looks like the ebay ad picture and his no flash picture look to be very similar in color.

Anyone near their car who could snap a picture of their sand beige headliner without using flash? I won't be near my car any time soon.
