Hi Cool Flash!!
I was going through a post about you about "PIWIS II - experts please!" and it seemed very interesting since I am also interested in acquiring a clone of good reputation for my Cayenne Turbo 2011 (958).
Could you please indicate me where to buy it. I appreciate your information.
I also read with interest your post about how you took apart the PDK shift knob without destroying it. How did you do so? Any tricks you can share? Thank you very much in advance! - Josh
I found your post about removing the Porsche PDK shifter and taking it apart - something I am trying to do at the moment (on my 997 Gen 2 Carrera) so I can have the leather surround replaced with OEM grey Alcantara. Would you be able to provide me more details and pics as to how you did this please? I tried and failed to disassemble it as in the picture you posted.
I had Sport Chrono retrofitted by PEW Sportwagen (Porsche Erhard Wagner) in Böblingen (very close to Stuttgart).
Mr. Wagner obtained the required codes directly from Porsche Stuttgart and coded my car using PIWIS. I paid 1000 Euros to PEW. Mr. Wagner trained at Porsche and only does Porsche now. Give him a call. I am sure that he can check if your VIN is suitable for the retrofit as the codes are based on individual VIN.
Hallo Cool Flash,
I am based in france and I am currently looking for more information regarding the possibility to retrofit the Sport/Sport + mode on a 997 4 GTS available for sale in Germany. According to the Tequipment web site this option is not listed for the 997 4 GTS which seems quite strange. It is the only model missing.
Could you please indicate me where did you get the retrofit performed for your 997.2 Targa 4 PDK? I might give them a call. I suppose it was in a PZ.
