I really like the deep dish on the CV3s. If you need to change the colour go silver in case you take the wrap off.

I like the black with silver lip, but I am old-fashioned

I think your front drop is too low and it is tricking your eyes. your photoshop pics look better because there is more of a normal gap between tire and wheel well which allows for some contrast.
Agreed - I don't think it is a color issue so much. They look like 20s - and too big or something. What Fracture posted looks best to me.

You can't see black wheels, gray is better looking.

Would go satin and not gloss black or bronze in satin or matte all the same color and without the machined lip. Also Agree too much wheel and not enough rubber.

one person's opinion...

1) 20's are too big on 997... trying too hard to look good, at the sacrifice of driving performance

2) car is too slammed... need some wheel gap to look balanced

a driver's car like this deserves more moderated treatment given its true mission

Good lord are we really going down the 20's are too big for a 997 rathole here....... I would take a well made lite weight set of 20s over 19s all day long. Some 20s based on design look bigger then others will agree. The tech-art wheel pattern always looked oversized and 20's does heighten that.

I would suggest stick with current color set up... I think they car looks fantastic as is with the grey wheels. (any more pics with no filter on camera and a little closer so can see the finish?) Black wheels can sometimes get lost.

I have the same color wheels but car is black and yes they are 20s......see below.

I do prefer the black with machined lip, but in 20 I'm not so sure if they "match" with the 997 lines.

Agreed. The entire suspension setup of the 997 is designed around 19" wheels, just like how the 996 was designed for 18". If you go to 20", you sacrifice performance.

Honestly, you are over doing it with your car. It looks like a rapper-mobile.

Due to comments like this those who thinks 20's on a 997 look too big may leave the thread!!

Question if 20's look too big was never asked!!

People aren't trying to be critical of you, they are just giving their opinion on your wheels as you requested. Some people like 20s, and some don't. Love 'em or hate 'em, size does contribute to the look of the wheels and the overall look of the vehicle. Don't worry about it. If you like them, then so be it.

OK, hide your head in the sand. People here are just telling you the truth. Porsche engineers re-designed the entire 997 suspension system around 19" wheels, just like the 991 for 20" and the 996 for 18". It's a fact.
