Best Driving Roads in California

Just my opinion, but I side with Joe. I will remain open as to my participation, but it is more likely than not that I will miss this one. Joe is due for a trip. Plan this one to his needs. Having a GTS along is always a good thing (as is having Joe there with you!).
Only suggestion would be to avoid Saturday and Sunday traffic.

I'll take this to PM so we don't clutter this thread...
PS We know that Cable begins his day at noontime so his participation may be doubtful (but I hope not!)

Keep me posted, I'm in! 36 is my all time favorite road in North America!

That said we could do an after-AM rush hour roll to the Eureka area, although I'm also good with a very early departure up the coast!
I know an acquaintance in the Eureka area that has a workshop with a number of long (and perhaps short) hoods that are in various stages of repair and it would be great to get a tour the afternoon that we roll into that area. Thoughts?
Proposed days are still TBD...

As I prepare for a super busy August culminating in a trip to Stuttgart, you're killing me with all of this road trip candy ;-)

haha...kicking & screaming to the track is not a problem (except perhaps a 1st world type!) so no tears here if anyone's beauty sleep comes up short because they have to drive a 911 to the track. Thinking we depart noonish from SF/Bay Area up 1 to Eureka arriving 4ish for those interested. Then head out the following morning for a spirited drive? 911 driving bliss! I could do any day during the week of August 22nd, other dates available as well but this is my only full week that is clear.

Well visiting a car restoration barn with some jobs in the works sounds great to me.

Bending your arm here!
We all know that life sometimes gets in the way of play but we'll just be thinking that isn't the case here (for any of us!).
Still a WIP but will PM you when the plans are solidified...
