Anyway, it's been fun. I really enjoy the result. Together, all of these little "projects" have elevated the luxury feeling of the cabin.

Love it -- did you wrap the steering column yourself? I've completed my lower dash plus other pieces -- maybe steering column is next for me.

Yeah, you're right. It's a misuse of the term. Many interiors seen here can best be described as being customized or personalized, and not fully custom or bespoke.

You can do a lot to dress up the 997.1 triangular wheel and then your multi-function switches can be transferred to the new wheel. I did this with my DCT carbon one. I actually like the triangular airbag wheel as it has much less plastic than the round airbag one, just not the design of the wheel rim itself.

A lot of great interiors here!... I have been wondering if I can pull off having a gray gt3 style alcantara steering wheel on my sand beige interior... and whether or not adding a alcantara shift **** and boot would make it worse or better?

The rennline pedals with the extentions also look great, but not sure if I am comfortable drilling the pedals... Decisions decisions...

Looking good - like the excellence mag touch on the front seat too !

You know what might look really good in your car is floor mats that match the color of the alcantara accents you have, probably not Stone Grey, but a black or Charcoal - just a thought. I can get you in touch with my contact at Inpelle leatherworks if you'd like a set of leather floormats - have them in all my cars except my truck. Here's pics of the 997 and 928.

Also black and tan full leather with titanium gear shift and hand brake. Just replaced the ignition switch with black and waiting on the bezel for the headlights. Switched out the tan carpets for black

Love some of the interiors on here. I looked at the carbon replacement for the ignition switch and almost fell over. Something like US$150 for that little piece. God knows what some of you spent on all those carbon fiber trim pieces but you probably could of bought a boxster

You read my mind. I have black and swap them back and forth but it's almost too much contrast. I would love a grey colored Matt that is same color as the alcantara. Does Porsche Make a standard grey color that's similar? Can see below in black just looked off...

Is your steering wheel a smaller diameter as compared to OEM?
