This is an interesting car. A 2006 Porsche 911 Club S Coupe. Do you guys think it's worth it?

Porsche is so good about coming up with special models that they doll up and make "limited production" at a greatly inflated price. It's like Panerai. Every watch is a "Limited Production" to 500 or 1000 pieces. They limit it to what they can sell.
Something else that would concern me. Find out who owns it now. It was purchased by a 3rd owner and a new registration was issued 11/16/20. It was then put up for sale by Dick Barbour 12/25/20 so it was either a private party that owned it 30 days and decided to sell it after a month, or it was Dick Barbour that issued a registration to the dealership 11/16??? Dosn't make sense to me.

Asking $79k for that car is crazy. That's lower-mileage GTS money. It's nothing more that has a power kit, sports seats, PTS, full leather, and some other goodies. It's still a 997.1 with 57k miles. Max I'd pay would be $65k. But I wouldn't buy it period. It is a beautiful color and a stunning car. But you have to be real about this stuff. For $75K you can get that 2011 C4S mentioned above from Toy Barn. It has 18k miles. Granted it's a PDK but jeeze.

I fail to see the significance and this car has a nominal premium for me over a regular one. Of course to a collector who is looking for 'all the pieces' for their collection, will be happy to pay more for one. As soon as the miles pile up, it's not a collector piece anymore.
Don't mean to take a poop on these cars, they're great, I just don't see the value in my eyes.

This might be a good opportunity for someone to get into a 997.1 for under $25k.
Base 06 triple black C2 Cab w/ 132k miles. . . based on the interior photos, it looks like it has been driven but well taken care of. More diligence required, but worth at least checking out if your looking for a 997 and haven't had the budget for it. . .

Hi folks. . .
This car has been for sale for quite a while and I'm curious as to your impression regarding why it hasn't sold yet.
Asking $54.9k for 09 6MT C4S Cab Black over Red interior w/ 49k miles - https://www.grandprimotors.com/used/...a3c8f70b4a.htm
Build Sheet - https://vinanalytics.com/car/WP0CB29929S755222/
Is the issue the asking price or is it something else (red interior)?
First noticed over the summer and didn't expect it to still be on the market at this point. so curious on the group's thoughts as to why this is. . .

Looks like Grand Prix Motors has had it for almost a year - very peculiar.
I think the red (full red) interior hurts it. Plus, to my eyes, the interior condition seems pretty worn looking, especially for a 49k mile car. The cab top looks most of the way shot to me.
This car has bounced around quite a bit over its life - California, Minnesota, Florida, Wisconsin, now it's in Portland. 4 owners. Landed at a Kia dealership at one point and was sold.
As others have pointed out, the damage report (I think it was a single event - just on the CarFax report in duplication) doesn't help.
The current selling dealer maintains a good inventory of used 911's. Could be this one being visually challenged hasn't been able to show well being situated around nicer inventory.
Given the condition/appearance issues - the price is hurting it as well.

I have an absolute hate on for red interiors and Porsch's is particularly ugly. 997 for me, it's black or nothing. Stone grey is taxi cab grey, beige is just brutal and red offensive. Don't start me on blue.

It shows minor damage to the rear in both, but they're more than 3 months apart on the carfax report, and it states neither was shown until two different days in 2017.
