I'm in the process of getting a PPI done on an '07 997C2S X51, pccb, SC, psam, 53kmi, one-owner (PCA member). It has an AWE exhaust, blistein adjustable shocks to lower it ~1" and a fabspeed intake (I'd like to return that back to the stock X51 intake). It has had a couple minor parking altercations but I've seen all the repair paperwork and it all looks pretty minor. I plan on it being my DD. We agreed on $42k before the PPI. Wish me luck!

Thanks, this thread has helped a bunch in my search and in being patient to wait for and recognize a good deal. I hope my data point helps future buyers.

X51 is a nice find. Who's doing your PPI?

TIRED - now see it's sold .

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/d/san-francisco-2011-porsche-911-gts/6832882036.html

GTS coupe, 34k miles, manual - $66k . Seems like a bargain.

Haha guy probably has more money than sense, someone would have paid in the high $70's or more .No offense to the seller, every circumstance is different.

I used here, car gurus, rides list, auto trader, craigslist, PCA and then specific companies I would trust. Lots of overlap on the national sites.

In the end I got mine from a member here who mentioned he was considering selling. Quick PM deal was done before it hit the market. Keep you eyes open and stay active!

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...8483/overview/

beware of this one....2006 c4 in rough rough shape. i took a look yesterday....no service records, fire hazard amp powered with battery cables in the frunk, lots of scratches that look like a child used an oversized paintbrush to fill, carbon fiber stickers on interior sills and demisters, clutch was heavy with late release (reminded me of my 06 c2s right before it started slipping). car felt really sluggish during the drive too.

dealer was clueless with a 'we know what we've got' attitude. i made an appointment only to get there to find the car filthy, sitting in their dim repair shop.

regardless, i rolled the dice and threw $18k out there (project car?) but was told by the manager we were simply too far apart. not sure what this one is worth but would highly recommend ppi.
