As much as I love ducktails I would just leave the wing as is it looks great that way. Seems like a great little 'special edition' that way.

I'm going retro when my C2S arrives (two weeks fingers crossed). Sport Classic wheels and the Getty ducktail and lowering.

But yours looks SOOO good as is, i'd be hard pressed to touch anything...

F77 is new intake, plenum, reprogrammed ECU, exhaust manifolds, and mufflers.

X51 is much more complex... Intake, plenum, TB, intake manifold, diff vario, cam timing, revised cylinder heads, and exhaust manifolds.

X51 exchanges many internals that most bolt on mod packages do not.

Agreed; thanks for the note. I was committed to Ducktail and Rotiforms Fucs but few things... the Rotiforms turned into a hassle to order (can see in person or even pics of them on a 997 not available) and in person the aero looked much better then I had expected. For now want to finish modding the aero look and down the road of bored then may go with the retro look of duck and some more vintage look wheels.

Make sure you post pics.... sure will look slick. Are you committed to sport classics as would LOVE someone to go Rotiform so can see them on a 997.

Yes the x51 much more complex and as you noted combo of internals + bolt ons where the F77 Power kit is an all bolt on set up. Prior owner did add gt3 TB as well to my car as well and IMO should be offered with the F77 kit standard. If I had to pick between the two would take the F77 hands down as the car sounds way better! Only kidding with you... not about the sound as that part is true as those stainless Tubi mufflers really sound great. But yes would take the X51 set up no doubt if had a choice and if $ was the same in purchase price. This is a great alternative for those that want to spend half the money of a X51, not want to upgrade to a gt3 and still have a bit more then a base c2s.

What do I call my car with the X-51 motor and headers and the rest is the Champion F-77 package with the Tubi, GIAC tune, and Werks carbon airbox

X577 (yes that's a joke)

wow didn't realize you had the X51 motor plus the f77 power kit....that is a pretty sweet set up. Did you do all that work? You picked up some Fuch style wheels in classifieds no? Will look great on your silver car...

I haven't even had the car for more then a few weeks... So not sure what I will do with the rear F77 badge that came with it etc. My prior 997 I swapped out for the simple 911 logo across the back and did like that look. Clean and simple... that in matte black or grey finish to match the new wheels is what I am leaning towards if swap off from the current...

I purchased the car with all the mods. I knew it had X-51 headers and plenum, but after receiving the car, I discovered it had a complete replacement X-51 motor

Rare.... Most people find change under the seat, or scratches touched up poorly or A weeping IMS etc after purchase. U discover an x51???? Good for you, pretty nice find. Seller didn't know what they had or auction car? Check the brakes maybe PCCB?

Tires and wheels are in. Just waiting for the titanium lug set. Wheels are super light and great finish on them. Eager to get the first round of mods installed. Weather getting cold around here and once first snow hits (could be any week now) things will have to wait till hibernation is over.
