Crush washer for manual transmission plugs?

Just got my order of Mobilube PTX in and while getting ready to DIY my MT gear lube, realized I forgot to order crush washers for the drain and fill plugs. Went to the local dealer, figured at most a few bucks each, but found out:
1) They don't even stock part 99730180800, and
2) They are $16 each if I want to order them!!!
What am I missing here? I googled the part number and found a few for $14, but come on, it is a crush washer!!!
Are the washers reusable? Can I just get a generic aluminum crush washer at autozone and call it good enough?

I'm thinking that the tranny fluid gets changed maybe 4 or 5 times in the life of the car you should fine reusing what you have. Engine oil change intervals?? Yes by all means change it.

These work. My buddy had a dozen of these for use on his 993. Same size and worked fine on 997.2 tranny. Around $.60 each!! Get them at local dealer (if you have one nearby) and avoid shipping.
I wouldn't re-use the old one...they do, after all, get crushed! The whole idea is that when torqued it creates the little lip to seal.

If they are indeed identical to the oil drain washer you can get them from Pelican parts for a buck or two. I forgot exactly how much when I ordered them but they are cheap. They are aftermarket but they match the dimensions of the OEM one exactly.

Not a crush washer but a sealing ring. Not supposed to be reused.
The ring gets damaged when the drain plug is torqued down and fi reused it can mar the very fine finish that the drain plug has or where the sealing ring seals against the case.
The ring is the sacrificial item in the drain plug, case interface.
When I did my own oil changes I always had spares in each car just in case. In fact I spotted at least one new ring in one car the other day. And believe it or not I just rummaged around and found a new one on the table next to my recliner.

Tip: Make sure you can identify and remove the FILL plug BEFORE you drain the tranny.

Checking dimensions on the crush washers (which I re-used) with my calipers while they were out: 24.0 mm OD, 18.0 mm ID, 2.0 mm thick. Should be easy enough to find for next time at the local parts store.

Changed the oil today, taking this advice to heart, not only loosening but fully removing the fill plug before I had even cracked the drain plug. Unfortunately, about half a quart of lube came bubbling out all over the place since I didn't have my catch pan ready and in position yet. Not sure who did it last, but the thing was fuller than full!!
