We bought a brand new CNC Swiss Screw Machine this year and we are doing a large machining run of titanium for a customer. I decided to use this opportunity to make some lug bolts for the Porsche and will be running them this weekend. We will use the factory style lug bolt with the floating ball seat just like Porsche uses but we can now offer these at a really significant savings.

I would be up for a set, but would like to see the finished product first.
I will have photos of the finished product on Monday.

Maybe when I get on the machine next time I can run some but I would need to design them first.

I guess the comparison to Tikores is that they are both titanium, we will also have the floating ball seat like Tikore and Porsche uses, I am sure that they are using grade 5 titanium as well.
The biggest difference is that we have a big titanium job that we are just finishing up and we get titanium for these big jobs at a great price. I can pass the savings onto you guys. We had thousands of feet of titanium bar stock for this job and you guys can take major advantage of what is left over from the job. That translates into huge savings.
I'm not going to offer locks right now because I have limited time on the machines before the next job is started on Monday. I would have to do some designing and build a program to build those but it can be done if their is enough interest. I first want to see the interest on these.

For starters don't those Tikore lug bolts cost like $700+ dollars. $250 is a heck of a deal, but still more than I'm willing to spend on some bolts. The ECS tuning bolts for $75 works just as well for me. I've taken my OEM bolts on/off a million times and they just look worn out from a cosmetic stand point....and that's what it's all about.

No slight meant of course. The Tikore's are the only other titanium lug nut that I'm aware of and have no other point of reference for comparison.
Different story if there were multiple suppliers like say tires.
Having said that, I'm in if your going to run a bunch.
What finish do you anticipate? Brushed or polished?
I wouldn't worry about it. You hardly ever hear of wheels being stolen. Or, just use your current locks (clean them and paint them), and only order 16 of the titanium wheel bolts.
Stainless would also be nice, in fact, probably aesthetically more pleasing!
Stainless would be nice but I'm not sure it has the same strength as Titanium. Considering the amount of load and forces placed on the lug bolts I would want them to be as strong as possible. If you look on Tikore's website you'll see that even the titanium lugs don't match up to the stock bolts but they are very very close.
