I'm leaning towards CPO as this is my first 911. Although I am confident in my ability to wrench, I feel I need some time to study and learn this engine. A lot different than the M3's S54. Beautiful car snake.

No, not dumping wifey, she's a keeper. She was the one that encouraged me to sell the M3s and move onto the Porsche world.

Dither and lose I guess.

I went from a 2008 E92 M3 to a 997.2. I'm really happy with the change. I do miss a few things about the M3 - nice beefy steering wheel, and the fantastic engine intake sounds. Overall the 997.2 feels faster and more nimble. Glad I made the move.

It is interesting that there are very few Blue 997.2 non Vert Ss out there, well at least right now. Was interested in a Ruby Red 2010 with 25,000 but someone else closer to the dealership beat me to it. I really love the midnight blue metallic. The search continues...

Lotta lotta lotta verts out there. Must be the season... They are really nice but looking for that 997.2 S coupe 6mt midnight blue metallic, with under 30,000 miles. Enjoying the hunt and learning as I go.

If you take a while searching, you may be the guy that beats others to the punch on a great deal. Good luck!

I agree that the stock wheels feel wimpy in your hands but there are plenty of inexpensive fixes for that where you can keep the stock core. Here's one I had built for the -09 C4S. One of the best mods for these cars imo.

So how did you do this? What is the cost? Looks great.

This is where I had mine done:

http://www.dallassteeringwheel.com/sw1.htm

Agree it's one of the best mods, best bang for the buck for sure.

Price? agree it's a nice upgrade. Too bad their website is so user unfriendly.
