Although this is not related to our beloved 997's, a look at this link is really worthwhile. Mind you I don't care for the interiors but this rest is a work of art!

Hope you enjoy...

His cars are amazing. Initially I have to admit, I didnt think so cosmetically because I didnt like the retro look but now, knowing everything that goes into them with the very aggressive look, true works of art.

I have seen one in person at a Porsche gathering. It is indeed very unique. But the consensus was that for that kinda dow (they start at half a million), you can get a very rare genuine Porsche (or two) that will grow in value like 993 Turbo S, 964 Turbo S, 911R, 964 Turbo Cab, 930 LE, 997 Sport Classic, 997 Speedster, etc... The Singer, as awesome as it is, is just one coach builder's creation, IMO.
That being said, one would not get a Singer instead of any of those cars, but rather as an addition to a collection. In other words, if money is no object you definitely want it.

Nice resto-mod, but an overdone and over-priced one. Looks like jewelry on wheels and I for one do not drive jewelry.

The coachwork and attention to detail is awesome, but that woven interior looks like the hot pads my daughter makes on her toy loom. Would've looked so much nicer with that diamond quilted leather like that under the front hood in either the green or orange.

I'd love to have one of those built to my tastes and specs.

I guess I'm supposed to re-decorate my kitchen with avocado appliances now eh?

Peace

Wow.

While the photo's certainly are drool-worthy, what makes it all the better is knowing a Singer has total performance equal to its looks. The AC is modern, bespoke wiring harness aerospace spec, the lightweight lining materials are aircraft spec for tuned sound deadening- and handling and performance are outstanding, with a recent Singer posting lap times equal to or better than the then-current GT3. With 400 hp in a likely 2400 lb car this one looks to be even faster. As if that weren't enough, the whole car is a deeply heartfelt homage to the 911. A genuine tour de force.

If I ever have way too much money (not likely by my definition), I will make a call to Singer and spend some.

This car and it's desireability could be a message to porsche. Make a retro 911 and price it well.

Stunning work of art. I really like the wasabi paint. The plad interior is nice but a little over done IMO - just the seat inserts in plad would have been perfect.
