At first mumbled, 45,000 miles damn, that’s crazy miles… then I said to myself, “ you’re such an *******, drive this friggen car. Enjoy it, dumbass. You have an incredible car beneath you yet you’re wringing your hands over mileage, you fool. Maintain the god damn thing and just drive it, that’s why you bought it.” Then I drove straight home and parked it safely in the garage.😅

Not meaning any offense here, but you're a frigging idiot if you leave it parked in the garage. That's like marrying a super model but sleeping in different beds because you want to save her for her next boyfriend. Now go out and drive!!!

My wife’s boyfriend won’t let me sleep with her.

I agree. I’m not offended. I always make a deal with myself to drive the **** out of the 997. It is an absolute joy to drive everywhere…but room becomes an issue. Then spring/summer rolls around and i have to take my sons down South for travel baseball. Last year we drove from New York to Fort Meyers, Fla. to Hoover, Ala. to Marietta, Ga back to Jupiter, Fla then up to Cincinnati, Ohio to Flemington, N.J to Cary, N.C. and then finally finished up in Staten Island, N.Y. Impossible to do all that drivingin the 997 with a car full of baseball equipment. Now before everybody starts feeling bad for me, I did all that driving in my 2013 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. I love driving that beast too. I do drive the wheels off the turbo. I think i drove approx 16,000 from May to September

I just came across this baby. Maybe the owner is on here? Single owner, Black on Black, PCCB. 307k miles!

That's a lot of miles, but the rebuilt engine has < 60k on it. If everything else checks out, this could be a driver and keeper for someone.

Give them an award for driving their car! That is impressive. I would not be turned off my the miles at that price and the detailed history and rebuild.

They're not on here because they're too busy driving! LOL

I'd actually be more concerned with the PCCB's at that age than the engine (although I would be curious to find out more about the builder and what liners they used in the rebuild process). I'm sure with that many miles, they are mostly highway miles, but having to replace the PCCB's on a car at that price point might be cost prohibitive for some people.

Just swap the rotors for steel. Common switch.

I seen that one with 307k yesterday. That'd be a perfect candidate for a track car with one of FSI's R43's. I've been dreaming of my next car and a rwd S with a R43 would make an excellent toy.
