Highest Mileage 997
#76
The S2000 is the clear winner in this contest IMO. My 997 is much faster and is more special, but the S2000 is 10x more raw, 100x more reliable, and 1000x cheaper to own. I have owned 2 and my current has 156k miles and gets tracked HARD!! Only failure was a rear diff and it cost $800 to replace (used diff + labor). Don’t get me wrong, I love my 997, but raw reliability nothing beats an S2k. I spend $400 a year on brake pads and $800 a year on tires and get in about 18-20 days on the track. The rest is gas and oil (I go through about 2qts a weekend ).

2010 C4S PDK ... 137K miles. I know many have exceeded this number. Mine continues to run like new.
I had planned on catching up to Bruce over the last 12 months. But I drove less than 2K miles instead. On the bright side, I saved thousands on gas and hotels.
There was a guy on FB who claimed over 200K but as far as I'm concerned if he doesn't show up here with pictures of his odometer he doesn't count!!!

Love to see these mileages ! They're made to be driven and enjoyed.
72,000 currently. Bought it at 18,000 hope to get to 118,000.
At that point I'll just drive it until it drops.
Hard to put on miles - my kids couldnt take their vehicles to freshman college so I drove their (mine) cars some. Usually use wifeys grocery getter on weekends and to the beach.
Didnt work for a few years after I sold my business, then worked from home for about a year.
Parker her outside all the while as a daily driver as my better toys got the garage.
Likely all the plastic/paint/rubber will fall apart before the mechanicals.
Cheers
