@raceinc - This looks interesting but I don't think some of us understand (myself included) what you're trying to communicate here. Did you get some work done at Wheel Dynamics? What was done? Why? What was the result?
Answering, 'who, what, when, where, why and how' can help make a good story and at risk of sounding condescending I think answering those might help us. We want to know!

I have no idea what they are advertising. Besides, are they even a paying advertiser? Not that I'm the advertising police but it was a pretty clueless post.
I could have been nicer ... yes. I'll give you that.
What makes you think this indy is better than a dealership anyway? Because they posted some random video of cars on a lift?

I know what you are saying buttt......I hate dealerships so I prefer almost any indy over them.
I just hate the fake-salesmen **** you get at dealership. Such an uncomfortable atmosphere for me.
At Wheel Dynamics we had a customer bring in his car to install a FabSpeed exhaust including headers and upgraded cats.
Today the same customer has returned so that we can finish up by installing a set of H&R Springs and an IPD unit.
Here are some actual photos of this installation in addition to a few others which might give you a better understanding of the service work we perform here.
We are also going to host an open house sometime in July, we will post up more details as soon as we have them.

Just wanted to offer a reply to answer your question directly, we have two techs on staff who perform most of the Porsche service work, one is a former PORSCHE factory trained tech with over 10-years at the dealership level. The other is a ASC certified technician who has been wrenching for over 10-year and who is learning the ropes of Porsche cars while here.
Remember, just because you go to the dealership doesn't mean all techs who work in the back have more than 10-years of experience. You can get a tech who has months or years, it's a crap shoot most of the time at the dealerships unless you have developed a relationship with your tech or service writer. But then again you're at $150 per hour average, we are still at $100 per hour.
Not saying we are better, however I think we have a great team from anything from oil changes to major engine modifications.
Does raceinc = wheel dynamics? If so, then it's a different story. Just didn't get that from the first post.
Honestly, it's all a crap shoot it seems. Indy vs dealer. You're right, it's about experience and track record.
Any good upgrades for a base 997.2?
Hi there,
We are authorized retailers for FabSpeed and EVOMS and so if you are local we invite you to make your purchases and have them installed here. We offer deals on the installation work since we prefer to hold to the retailers (MA Pricing).
Example would be: Our recent customer's 997 GT3 ecu flash, we charged the customer the advertised price on the EVOMS site.
Everything below we covered all the cost, shipping, packing & (remove/install) labor.
-We have our Porsche factory certified tech remove the ECU
-We package the ECU for shipping via FedEx to EVOMS
-We also pay the shipping cost both directions
-We have tech then re-install the ECU
In those cases when we are dealing with a customer who is not local we can then work with you in offering a discount on a package, FREE SHIPPING, FREE ITEMS or discounts etc. but call or email for more details.
