Love the Aero kit on theses cars..

I have a factory rear spoiler for C4S available with harness & fan in Artic silver. Bumper with lip gone already.

PM if interested.

Yes its not a problem. Just angle approach and your ok. I have a GT3 which I drive in Europe and a lowered aero kit 4 GTS which is my DD here. No problem either way. I use some door edge guard on the lower edge of the front lip and it really helps prevent scuffing.

Agree, door edge guard is your best friend.

Has anyone added an aerokit after buying a 997 that didn't come with one? Cost to do so?

Any word on lbs of downforce generated on the track?

I brought mine with the GT3RS body kit. I was told by the previous owner, that's it's about $25K, OEM GT3RS front bumper (~$6K), Vorsteiner GT3RS CF wing and decklid (~$4.5K), rear bumper (~$4K), the rest for paint and installation. Now I don't have the receipt for everything so I can't confirm. It's not cheap.

As for downforce, you should be able to google it?

Yiou can do the regular Aero kit front bumper conversion for $1,500 plus paint brand new from Suncoast - http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...e=997s_aerokit

If you want to add the center radiator and want the full GT3 or GT3RS look with the bumper vent, that's not part of the standard AeroKit uppgrade and you'll pay 3-4x the price to have that look and function (comparing the pricing at Suncoast).

Rear bumpers, both GT3 with the center exhaust) and aftermarket versions come up for sale quite frequently, as well as vaious fixed wing decklid options. You should easily be able to do this entire conversion for under $10k if willing to use a mix of new and secondhand parts.

Just to note, as I know Para is looking at 997.2 cars, the 997.2 front bumper is about double the price from Suncoast...

I vote for GT3
