There is an organization in Ontario called OMVIC that these types of issues should be reported to.

I think you guys are right, I should talk to them.

Don't stop there. Go to yelp and other sights. When you catch a liar you have to make them pay for it. I would of called and call him a liar and thief so he knows how I feel.
People like that need to atone for what they try to do to people.
Glad you didn't get caught up in the purchase frenzy and trusted him.

And on resale, you never get any of that mod money back, so it would be wasted.
With the 08 C4s, I have to do very little. And things like the widebody and AWD and extra engine HP, are huge bonuses that I could never add to the base model.
So, you are correct. Omid's dishonesty lead to me looking elsewhere, and eventually finding something much better for me.
However, as others have pointed out, that doesn't excuse his behavior or make it OK in any way. Unless people report this type of behavior, then it will continue (sometimes it continues anyway).
Since the majority of car buyers now do internet searches before making a purchase, guys like Omid can no longer hide in the shadows, and deceive people without others hearing about it.
The only reason why I am reporting it or telling about the experience, is to save others from getting scammed by this dealership. Buying a solid high-end used car is a endeavor that requires research and precaution. All used car buyers should share their experiences publicly to make purchasing a used car as easy as possible for everyone else.
Also, dealerships that are honest and fair should be rewarded, with positive reviews. On the other hand, hiding a bad experience with a dealership only rewards the bad dealers.

I bought a used 2005 BMW 325i from this place and I had nothing but mechanical troubles.I brought it to BMW and they told me it was a flood car from the U.S.
and the body was repaired in several places as well.So now I'm stuck with this piece of garbage and the car report they gave me only showed the Canadian history of the car, not the U.S.The car was a insurance write off in Boston and was only allowed for re-sale of parts, it was branded as un-repairable.
The Owner Chuck is a ***-MAN and his Middle Eastern sales man as well, who used to work for Canadian Fine motors in Scarbrough, selling junk!!

Thanks guys!
The white 997s are a bit harder to find, compared to the silver/grey/black ones. I was looking specifically for a white on black coupe, which narrows it just a bit more.
The C4s is my favorite, but I didnt think I would be able to afford one. I found this one at a very fair price, so I decided to take the plunge, and tighten up on other monthly expenses. So, we will be eating more baked chicken and rice instead of steak and asparagus until the car is paid off LOL
With the strength of the American dollar, the prices on certain off-lease Canadian 911s seem to be amazing right now. It used to be that US car prices were cheaper with the conversion, but now I am finding it the other way around. I have a feeling that the prices up here will eventually go up to match the US car prices, if the Canadian dollar doesnt make a comeback soon. It is tied into the oil prices, so as long as oil is low, then the CAD dollar will be low.
For example, the Dealership were I bought the car has another 2008 C4S right now with 40k miles on it for $56k CAD. In USD, that comes to $44680. The car has NAV, full leather, HRE wheels, looks clean, and the dealer is reputable.
If you do a search now on AutoTrader.com the very cheapest 2008 manual C4S in all of the US is $47785. And, that car seems to be a formal rental, according to the Autocheck report. Being the very cheapest in the entire country, you can guess it has some issues.
My advice for Canadians in the market for a 997, would be to buy one ASAP if you are thinking of getting one. I have a feeling that the price may go up to match US prices if the CAD $ stays low in value (which analysts are predicting it might).

Thanks man!
At least it all worked out in the end.
The biggest surprise I have driving this car (it is my first RUNNING Porsche) is how raw and engaging it is in stock form. For some reason, I thought the 911 was more of a GT car. I love it, and am so happy I got an S car, as I have a feeling that is a large part of why it feels so good.

Correct on CAD vs USD... I've been pricing out GT3s in Canada because of that. Had a dealer bump up the price after I inquired...
For Canadians looking at cars, particularly the higher priced models (used in particular) I would suggest buying before they all start getting bought and sent south.
