Default Correct GTS 4 weight?

before I dismiss the C4 solely because of the effect of extra 270lbs
The 270lbs seems egregious. But from reading many test reviews I see the weight of a 4 GTS stated as either 1480kg/3256lbs or 1555kg/3428 lbs. Given the 2 GTS is 1423kg/3131lbs means the AWD adds either 125lbs or adds 300lbs. CAn someone with 4 GTS conclusively state what the actual weight is? I really doubt I'd go with the 4 if it adds anywhere close to 300lbs.

I have Porsche's GTS brochure stating the 2GTS is 1420kg and the 4GTS is 1480kg (both manual) so the AWD system looks like it adds 60kg or around 132lbs which isn't too bad.

Interestingly the 2GTS weight is 5kg lighter than the Carrera S listed weight of 1425kg. I think this is due to the rear seats being deleted in the European models (you could option them back in). I'm not sure the rear seats delete was standard with North American GTS's. Also, these weights are quoted with absolutely no options, so the mandatory sunroof for NA models will certainly make any NA GTS be heavier than what Porsche published for their Euro spec cars.

Default Looking to GTS

I'm looking to get a 11 or 12' GTS. Where are the best sites to watch for one? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I would start on the Porsche official page. You can search for cpo cars by zip code.
You should think nationally as NW did. He found the car here in Philly and had it shipped over. There were two gts's sold by the same dealer to two rennlisters from the Midwest within a week of each other.

The GTS had to be imported into the U.S. and sold with the rear seats. That said, it takes about 10 minutes to remove them and I suspect that the shelf can be ordered from Germany. As a side note, HOV3 requirements in California consider a two seater (with two people) legal only if it a stock two seater. If you remove the rear seats, and since the GTS was optionable with rear seat seat delete, it would be legal in the HOV3 lane. (And HOV violations here start at something like $270 but that's just the fine. Counties add so many "fees" that it could easily be $500.)

Ah thanks for the clarification. I've removed the rear seats in my C2S easily but I'm not so sure about the seat belts. When the Euro cars come with no rear seats I'm assuming they also don't have rear seat belts as well, right?

Another interesting thing I found when I was checking out a 2GTS was the frunk is actually the same in the GTS regardless of whether its a 2 or a 4. I guess since they're all wide-body they share the same body as the C4 which means the same smaller frunk even if its a 2GTS. I was expecting the frunk would be the same as my C2S but it was significantly smaller... as if it could've gotten any smaller! Sure enough I checked the specs and Porsche lists the frunk capacity at 105 liters for both the 2GTS and 4GTS (same as the C4/C4S) whereas the C2/C2S has 135 liters.
