Before you purchase the GT3 see if you can drive it home get it on your driveway and check if the front lip of the car scrapes your driveway.

As much as I enjoy my 2WD GTS convertible there's always a part of me that wished I had purchased a GT3. The pure rawness that comes with driving a GT3 is second to none.

Had I bought a GT3 would I be saying "I wished I bought a GTS." Most likely not.

I'd get the gt3 for the heck of it. Enjoy the rawness and that Mezger. If you don't like it, switch back. You only live once.

Thirty years from now I think a 997.1 GT3 will be worth more that a 997.2 GTS. 15 years from now? Not so much. What time frame are you looking at for pay out?

My heart wants the GT3. There are those that would bestow it supercar status. No such supercar imaginings with the GTS. My brain, common sense, financial sensibilities, daily driving habits and essentially everything other than my heart says GTS. YMMV. First world problems for sure.

Not mad at all. I just question the clarity of your crystal ball.

Wow, this is the best quote I have read on rennlist yet.

My GTS does not have SPASM, and thank god it doesn't. Our steep driveway removes a small amount of front spoiler every time I leave and return. The first time I tried to pull in forward it remove a 1/8" off the bottom of the frunk.

I would keep the GTS if it is a DD.

By the way, I just noticed you've had 1,203 posts and you're still classified as a User. What does that say about you?

Gt3? Greatest car I've ever owned. Period. Makes me get a woody just cranking it in the morning. Could drive it everyday but save it for my weekend runs. Owned them all, love the GT3 more then all of them. Get it. Youll never look back

I have a GTS and while I really really like the car as a DD...I still lust for a GT3. Having been a track addict at one point, it just does that to you I guess. Once you go track, you never go back. Scheming to get a 991 GT3 now...can not resist
