Car is mine later this week. Took a paint meter to the entire vehicle, the only area out of spec was the rear bumper. I'm figuring bumper repaint = no big deal. Agreed on $74k, which seems like a good deal. Pics later. Car is currently on hold with deposit
I think you got best p-car money can buy on current market. Congrats.
Thanks! Where in AZ are you? I'm up in North Scottsdale
I am right near Lookout Mt. N Phoenix.....T-bird and 7th are pretty close cross streets. I get over to Scottsdale frequently and make the cars and coffee at Gainey village every time I am in town on the 1st Saturday of each month.
So, called the dealer and found a hiccup.
Car has a history of accident damage and repair to the "rear". They were not sure of severity or what the repair was.
They are looking into it and are supposed to get back to me with a report of the damage.
Bummer. Not sure I want to invest in a car with accident history.
love the options- if you have a chance to send some interior pics I'd love to see the guards red dials chrono etc..
enjoy the car!
The dials should look like this except for the GTS logo on the tach which I don't think you get from the factory. These were bought from FVD. Btw....to the OP, this sounds like a great deal. How many miles on the car?
Was going to say the same thing. Sorry to hear about that for the OP, but $74k is out of market price range.
How do you come to that? There are only three 2011 GTS convertibles for sale by Porsche dealers nationwide as of 2 minutes ago. Prices range from 84,888 to 97,990.
Assuming the rear bumper hit was light with no frame damage and assuming the mileage on the car is not excessive I still say he got a great deal at 74K. My -09 C4S was rear ended and the local dealer said they might take $3K off normal trade-in value.

Exactly my point. Unless my reading comprehension has gone to hell I read this as the OP picked this car up for $74k. Which in my humble opinion, is below market for a no stories, clean 997 GTS.

+1 - I almost purchased this car but decided to try and find a GT3 instead. If the repair has been done well, I would have no problem paying 74k for that car. If you intend on turning it for a profit right away, probably not the right car. If you want to keep and enjoy, great deal.

I apologize. When I read "Sorry to hear about that for the OP, but $74k is out of market price range." I took it as if you thought he overpaid. The "Sorry" threw me off.
