Default Wider tires on C4S

So I have someone who is offering me some barely used tires that were run on a 997.1 turbo and would like to put them on whatever new wheels I decide to get.

Are 245/35/19 and 325/30/19 OK to run on the C4S with the proper wheel offsets. I do not want to encounter rubbing or any potential differential problems with the increased tire sizes.

I have searched and have not found much

Thanks guys!

That is quite wide in the rear.

I have a widebody C4 and I'm running a 305 and feel its plenty wide.

Those are the Gt2 & Gt3rs tires w 12" rears. So if you like 12" wheels and 8.5" or 9" front wheels you can go 245 in the front too. I had those tires on a '07 C4s. They looked and worked fine.

I have those exact tire sizes on my GTS. No rubbing even going across nasty bumps. And the car is lowered. You should have no problems as long as the tires are a good match for your rim widths.

Forgeline GA1R wheels. According to the previous owner who ordered the wheels the fronts are 19.9 ET50 and the rears are 19.12 ET46.

I'd suggest running your tires through the before and after comparison tool at http://www.willtheyfit.com/. This will allow you to both visualize the size differences and see the potential effect of the speedo and offsets.

325s sound awfully wide to me unless you have wider wheels than I think (I assume you current have 305s). The generally-accepted +1 sizing rule would be exceeded (meaning that normally you could go to 315 without getting a wider rim).

325's will fit on 11" wide wheels and will fit on a C4S no problem.

What is the benefit of super wide tires on the rear unless you're drag racing or doing quarter miles?

kidding aside, just make sure youre not messing up the F/R height ratio as its an AWD system.
