Ok when you say the side panels, are you referring to the side trim panels? If so, where do you remove?

Yes, rear side trim panels. Here's more removal procedures for a-pillar, b-pillar, c-pillar and rear side.

Yes, peel back the carpet, find the wide plastic washers floating around under there, and reattach to the underside of the velcro strips. You need to remove the rear side trim and seat backs to peel back the carpet. See posts above.

That would be awesome. Are those locking bins underneath?

When I bought my carpet, maybe 3 yrs ago it was 199, but now, who knows. I dont think much color options will be available for a GT3 so anything beside black would have to be custom ordered, if at all possible

Default Tri-square, not Torx

Guys - the reason everyone is stripping these bolts may be because - at least on my 2006 - they are tri-square bolts, NOT Torx!

An 8mm trisquare driver makes short work of this job.

I can verify what DJ stated. On my 09 C4S they are indeed 8M Triple Square bits on the sides. Fits perfectly!

Thanks OP for the quick and accurate tutorial and thanks DJ for your post. Took me all of 10 minutes

Is the part (carpet) above the carpet covering the ECU just to pull or is there some clips? Cant see anything there...

Funny you should say that because that is exactly what the rear seat delete option used to be all the way through the 993 series. The 968 cabriolets frequently had a rear seat delete. Back in my 944S2 days I bought the shelf setup from a dismantler and recovered it to match my interior and installed it in my 944S2. It was far more useful than the rear seats ever were. I wish Porsche would bring it back.

8mm triple square on the side ones, got that. What about the center one?
