Great looking shifter! If my 997 didn't already have a short shift kit in it I'd be interested.

Any chance you could make one for a 6 speed Cayenne GTS?

I intsalled one on my car and it was easy (also installed their cables) and set the sfiter to the middle setting so it was not real short or long. The feel is 20 times better than stock and even my service advisor at the P-dealership metioned what a nice feel the transmission had. You can apprciate the value of this item when you set it next to the OEM shifter.

I don't have this shifter, but I did install an OEM 997.2 GT3 shifter. Absolutely love it. From what I've read this even more on the next level and if it was this price a while back I probably would have grabbed this one instead. When you guys are done fretting over your $1100 leather door sills and $1400 carbon fiber air vents and want to add something that pays instant performance dividends a shifter is it! Best bang for the buck IMO. Made my car that much more fun to drive. Steering wheel is next!

I ordered one yesterday and can't wait to get it. I drove a race prepped C2S with this shifter last Nov. and it felt fantastic to row through the gears. It looks good enough I'm thinking I'll delete my shifter console....

That's great news on the Cayenne shifter! If you need access to one for design/measurement/test purposes, let me know. I'm in Melbourne, just across the state from you (~2 hours).

That looks solid compared to the plastic OEM shifter frame... if you've installed this please post some pics of your interior. Just wondering if there is any appearance difference vs. OEM. BTW, I have the B&M SSK installed right now. Has anyone switched from B&M to Numeric and what difference have you noticed? TIA

USMC DS, same question too. Very curious. While my B&M feels good, I'd prefer something tighter, and firmer. Think of switching to the porsche ssk.

If you don't want to spring for the Numeric, look into the 997.2 GT3 shifter...search around, it has beefier parts than the OEM SSK. Like $369.

I have the B&M, have not gotten it installed yet, but this one seems superior.

I am curious as well.

Mine came with an OEM short shifter installed and it is all I have ever driven. Is there any way to put into words the difference in feel that this might provide? Looks like a very well made kit!

Thanks
