Default Looking for OEM 997.2 suspension

Hi folks,
I'm in the Seattle area, fwiw.
I have a SPASM 997.2 C2S. Love the car, but it's a little too low & stiff on the roads & driving on (even on Winter 18s). I'm considering installing a taller, softer suspension and the OEM 997.2 setup seems like a good choice. In particular, I'm thinking that a non-PASM 997.2 Carrera suspension would be the very best (I'm not a big fan of active suspensions).

Anybody have a set sitting gathering dust in the garage? Should I start trolling ebay? Any idea where I could go to find the exact part numbers I'm looking for?

I know sounds nuts, but I want to drive the car more.

Doesn't sound nuts at all...cars are way stiff. That's one of the many reasons I prefer the base 911 over the S. No lowering, no PASM. I like driving the car with as little computer controlled suspension as possible.

You may want to consider selling yours and getting a base model.

Just a thought, not sure if it's a good one!

I have a lower H&R springed car as well. I find it a little too low (sometime). We will see how much of a snowplow it is shortly. I have had the same thought. So much so, I have found some stock ride height springs to put on the shelf, just in case.

Well, I love the 3.8DFI, and the limited slip w/the SPASM. So, seems like I can raise & soften it in a relatively cheap and reversible fashion and have an interesting Frankenstein.

Rally 911 here I come

Not a bad idea. I am on 18" winters right now and it is pretty similar in ride and noise to the oe 19"s. Could be because they are both winters and circa 2008.

The other thing I am struggling with more than the ride is the weight of the clutch combined with my crawling stop and go commute. Driving my knee nuts to the point where I only have 10k miles on my 2010. I need to figure out whether to look into pt so I can dd the car, or trade it for an automatic.

Ot though. Thanks for all the thoughts. I need to go see if there is a way to lighten the clutch.

The Michelin super sports are supposed to be a lot smoother ride than spec'd PS2.
I have PDK and its the reason I chose my car as I drive mostly Urban areas .
