At least the sun roof was closed, wouldn't want the interior to get ruined. They did at least turn the windshield wipers on

Factory warranty should stick irrespective of who sells the car. CPO of course, does not stick when sold by a non P dealer (does stick if sold privately).

Warranty should kick in when the in service date starts which should be when it is first sold not when the dealer puts it up for sale.

I couldn't agree more with the "should", but reality is different
